VISUALIZE Intuitive, Responsive, Entire-slide Viewing
After creating whole-slide digital scans of your entire glass slide with a ScanScope scanner, the manner in which you visualize the resulting digital slide is critical. You need to have rapid access to crisp, true-color digital slide images to which you can adjust magnification, pan and zoom, compare different stains, annotate areas of interest, perform image analysis, and more.

Our Solution: |
Share, discuss and collaborate with remote locations by performing digital slide conferencing with our built-in digital slide conferencing application.
Our image analysis capabilities allow researchers to automate and standardize their studies, while clinicians use image analysis tools for FDA-cleared applications*, as an integral part of their workflow. Run image analysis conveniently with a simple click of a button while reviewing the slides on a computer monitor.
Annotation authoring capabilities are fully integrated into Spectrum and ImageScope, enabling the addition of graphical and textual annotations that can be stored and shared with the digital slide.
Spectrum TelePath Live functionality is useful in cytology specimens and other "thick tissue" applications. Interface directly to a ScanScope scanner through a network connection to view slides "live"and in different focal planes.
View multiple slides side by side and synchronously, as well as compare different sections from the same block, even when sections are rotated or translated with respect to one another. A macroscopic (thumbnail) view of the entire specimen is provided at all times, making it easy to navigate the digital slide without getting lost. For digital slides containing Z-stacks, ImageScope supports fast and seamless depth-of-focus viewing.
Extract a region, apply image adjustments for contrast, brightness and gamma, and more.

† ImageScope is a Windows-based application that requires Parallels™ Desktop or VMware Fusion to open digital slide images on a Mac. Alternatively, we offer WebScope, a platform-independent, flash-based viewer that is included with Spectrum.
